Clearwater Region River Otter Season Closed

The river otter trapping season for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game's Clearwater Region closed at 5 P.M., December 4, when the harvest quota of 14 was reached. A maximum allowable harvest of 17 otters will be allowed provided trappers report the additional 3 otters within 48 hours of the December 4 closure.
Any otter harvested in the region once the maximum allowable harvest is reached must be surrendered for a $5.00 reward.
