Q. I heard that I have to wear hunter orange this year. Is that true? I can't find it mentioned in the Big Game Rules Book.
A. New this year is a requirement that upland bird hunters wear hunter orange during pheasant season when hunting on wildlife management areas where pheasants are stocked. You don't have to wear hunter orange to hunt big game animals, but Fish and Game recommends it.
