Trappers will have the opportunity to check in their bobcat pelts when visiting the Boundary County Gun and Horn Show on Feb. 9 at the Boundary County Fairgrounds in Bonners Ferry. Fish and Game staff will be on-hand from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to allow trappers to meet the mandatory check and report requirement for bobcat.

Please remember to thaw pelts and carcasses before bringing them in for tagging. In addition to the show’s admission fee, each license holder will be charged a $1.75 vendor fee plus $2 per pelt tag.

The Kootenai Valley Sportsmen host the Gun and Horn Show annually, which features a horn contest, raffles, hunting and fishing gear, and more. The event runs Feb. 8-10 at the Boundary County Fairgrounds.
