Winners in the second of two Idaho Super Hunt drawings have been picked.
Of the 22,079 entries, 5,673 were for two deer tags, 7,689 were for two elk tags, 1,675 were for two pronghorn tags, 4,504 were for one moose tag, and 2,538 entries were for one Super Hunt Combo, which includes a tag for each of the four species.
Super Hunt winners by species, number drawn and state were:
- Deer: 1 - Utah; 1 - Oregon
- Elk: 1 - Idaho; 1 - Montana
- Pronghorn: 2 - Idaho
- Moose: 1 - California
- Super Hunt Combo: 1 - Texas
All winners have been contacted. State law prohibits Fish and Game from releasing the names of the winners.
Winners can participate in any open hunt in the state for deer, elk, pronghorn or moose, including general hunts and controlled hunts, in addition to any general season or controlled hunt tags they also hold. All other rules of individual hunts apply.
Over $168,000 was raised in this Super Hunt drawing. Proceeds benefit the Access Yes! Program, which supports landowners who provide hunter and angler access to or across private land.
