Teachers can explore books and environmental education at two-day class in Hailey.
Projects WET, WILD and Learning Tree are teaming up to offer teachers a workshop on July 23 and 24 in Hailey. University credit is available.
Educators, scout leaders, youth group leaders and other adults interested in the topics are welcome to attend.
During the class, participants will experience hands-on, environmental themed lessons that are tied to books with similar topics. Teachers can get ideas to help their students interpret, describe, explain and convey information through lessons in this workshop.
The class fee is $30. Fee includes one project guide of your choice, three trade books and lunch on the second day. One optional professional development credit for teachers is available for $50 (ISU) or $60 (NNU or BSU.)
