This special hunt is open to all 2011 Hunter Education graduates that are 10 to 17 years of age. The 24 young hunters chosen on a first-in-line basis will be mentored by seasoned hunters who will provide the retriever dogs, calls, shotgun and decoys. The deadline for applying is September 30 for this November hunt. The hunt will be the first three weekends of November. Each lucky young hunter will get one morning to hunt ducks. To apply, call or stop by the Fish and Game Region office with their name, address, phone number and their Hunter Education number.
