Learn the Basics of Shotgun Shooting

Idaho Fish and Game and shotgun shooting instructor Mari McStay of Willow Creek Ranch are working together to offer a free shot gunning 101 - "Learning the Basic Skills of Shooting Clay birds." This clinic is geared to novice hunters to improve shot gunning skills for the upcoming bird seasons. It is intended for those of any ages who have little or no experience shooting shotguns but want to learn bird hunting. The clinic will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 7, at the Willow Creek Ranch. A lunch will be provided as well as guns and ammunition. Willow Creek Ranch is at 1250 East on Highway 20 -- about 13 miles west of the junction of Highways 20 and 75. Preregistration is required for the participants. Please call the Magic Valley region office at 324-4359 to reserve a place. Parental permission forms are required for those under 18 years. The number of openings will be limited.
