Press Release

July trout stocking schedule for the Panhandle Region

5,800 rainbow trout are set to be stocked this month

Trout stocking is winding down for the summer as water temperatures heat up in many of the Panhandle’s low elevation lakes and ponds. Nevertheless, opportunities are still available to catch some of this year’s crop of stocked, “magnum” 10 to 12-inch rainbow trout.

Many of these waters are scenic spots that make a great destination to take family and friends on a summer fishing adventure.
