Idaho Fish and Game News is Now Available

The February issue of Idaho Fish and Game News is now available. This issue covers Fish and Game's effort to revise its elk management plan. Idaho's current plan is more than 12 years old. Starting in late 2011, Fish and Game launched an effort to revise and update that plan. Strategies in the plan will be driven by public expectations and changes in elk populations. The issue covers how the process works, why it's important and a summary of results from a recent survey of elk hunters. In addition, this issue encourages hunters to be involved in the process. As the plan develops Fish and Game solicit public comment through public meetings and online.
