With a permit in-hand hunters can access the Godde/Kroetch property starting Sept. 16

Due to the recent rains, cooler temperatures and lifting of area fire restrictions, the Godde / Kroetch Access Program is set to reopen on Sept. 16.

Access to the property is granted by permit only, and the permits can be obtained at the Panhandle Regional Fish and Game office during normal business hours. Permits will be available starting today, Sept. 15.  The Panhandle Regional office is open from 8 .a.m to 5 p.m. PDT.

The property will be open to access by permit-holders only starting on Sept. 16. No person is allowed on the property prior to Sept. 16, and then, only those possessing a permit are allowed on the property.

By obtaining a permit, the permit-holder agrees to follow all rules set forth by the land managers, such as no camping, no use of motorized vehicles on the property and no fires.  The risk of fire is still very real, so please adhere to all landowner rules at all times.

There are plenty of other great areas to consider hunting in the Panhandle Region and throughout the state.  Check out Fish and Game‘s Idaho Hunt Planner to scout and plan your next outing.

Please also check Fish and Game’s Idaho Fire Map to make sure you are aware of all relevant fire closures when planning your next trip.

Please contact the Panhandle Regional office at (208) 769-1414 with any questions and follow the Panhandle Region Facebook page for regular updates and news.
