Fishing Clinics Limit Rose Lake Launch June 18

idfg-nnokkentved
The Idaho Department of Fish and Game, in cooperation with the Panhandle Bass Club, have planned youth fishing clinics at Rose Lake for June 18. Fish and Game hosts numerous hunting and fishing events to promote participation in outdoor recreation. The focus of this event is to encourage youngsters to participate in fishing and perhaps choose fishing as a lifetime sport. Due to safety considerations, Fish and Game wants all anglers not involved in the clinic to know in advance that the main boat launch at Rose Lake will have limited availability before 5 p.m. on June 18. Anglers are encouraged to avoid Rose Lake before 5 p.mm on June 18 if they plan to use the main boat launch. Fish and Game suggests anglers use the Medimont launch to reach other nearby lakes such as Cave Lake and Medicine Lake. After 5 pm, boat access to Rose Lake should return to normal. The number of participants in this event is limited, as the Panhandle Bass Club will be providing boats and individual instruction for young anglers. Only a few spaces remain. To register, call the Panhandle Region Office at 769-1414.
