Fish & Game Director To Attend Lewiston's October Sportsmen's Breakfast Meeting

LEWISTON - Steve Huffaker, Director for the Idaho Department of Fish and Game (IDFG) will attend Lewiston's October Sportsmen's Breakfast Meeting, scheduled for 6:30 a.m., Tuesday, October 5 at the Helm Restaurant. Attendees will have an opportunity to meet with the Director and IDFG staff to discuss several issues. Fish and Game employees will report on the upcoming steelhead season, big game season outlook, upland bird prospects and significant enforcement activities. Sportsmen's group representatives are also welcome to give reports of their group's activities. IDFG will also hold a breakfast meeting in Grangeville at Oscar's Restaurant on Wednesday, October 6 at 7:00 a.m., and in Orofino at the Ponderosa Restaurant on Thursday, October 7 at 7:00 a.m. The meetings are designed to stimulate informal discussions about wildlife issues in the Clearwater Region. The informative breakfasts are open to anyone with fish and wildlife-related questions. The breakfast will run until 8:30 a.m., with coffee provided by Fish and Game.
