Fish and Game Seeks Information on Poaching of 4 Deer

Idaho Fish and Game is seeking information concerning the poaching of four deer over the past week in Bingham and Power Counties. The first two deer were found near McTucker Ponds in Bingham County. The two does were shot and left in a corn field on or about December 26. The third doe was found December 30, at the intersection of 2200 West 1057 South, Sterling North Road and Bower Road, near the town of Sterling. The fourth doe was found on Lake Channel Road near Gifford Springs in Power County. This doe was shot and left to waste on or about December 31. Near the time of this shooting, an early 2000 Bronze or Gold colored Chevrolet pickup was seen in the area. The truck is lifted with large tires and has 4C Cassia County Idaho license plate. The person driving this vehicle is of interest in this case. Anyone with information concerning any of these cases is urged to call Citizens Against Poaching at 1-800-632-5999 or the Idaho Department of Fish and Game regional office at 324-4359. Callers are eligible for cash reward and may remain anonymous.
