Idaho Fish and Game's "TAKE ME FISHING" trailer final event for the season is scheduled at Hells Gate State Park on Saturday, June 13 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Other than a $5 fee at the park entrance, this event is free and no pre-registration is required. If you are a beginning angler and haven't fished before, or you are a fishing connoisseur, this event is for you.
Idaho Fish and Game staff will be available to answer questions, provide local fishing information and instruction. Stop on by anytime during the event and join us for hamburgers and hotdogs, family friendly activities including; build-your-own tackle box, knot tying, practice casting, fish painting, a photo booth and much more.
Events will be held at the day-use area park picnic pavilion. There will also be a chance to test out your casting skills along the banks of the Snake River by Hells Gate Marina. Don't let not having your own gear keep you from attending. Loaner fishing equipment including rods, reels and bait will be available. No license is required for any age at this event, so come enjoy this opportunity to spend time with friends and family!
