Don't Forget to File Hunter Reports

idfg-mcoleman
Hunter reports are trickling in a little slower than the same time last year - but this year more are coming in online. All deer, elk and pronghorn hunters must complete and submit a report for each tag issued within 10 days of harvest or within 10 days of the close of the season for which the tag was valid. Last year reports averaged 1,164 filed per day; this they are averaging 1,040 per day. By this time last year, 57 percent of reports on more than 228,000 tags sold had been turned in, and of those, and a little more than 60 percent were submitted electronically. This year, 54 percent of reports on more than 221,000 tags sold have been turned in, but nearly 80 percent were filed online. Submitting online is the surest way to have hunt information included and the only way to get confirmation that the report was received. The Idaho Online Hunter Reporting System is now active. Hunters may submit reports at: https://id.outdoorcentral.us/id/HunterReporting/welcome. Hunter reports can be submitted online using a hunting license number or tag number and the last name as it appears on the license or tag. Or call 1-877-268-9365 toll-free, to speak to a live operator, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. If you have any questions or problems entering your hunter report please call Fish and Game's Wildlife Bureau at 208-334-2920.
