Citizens Against Poaching Offers Cash Rewards

idfg-sliebenthal
People hunting in Idaho's back country can be the best defense against poachers who steal precious game from all Idahoans, and those who help could pocket some extra cash. Anyone who sees or suspects illegal activity is asked to contact CAP. If you want to help, the first thing to do is get as much information as possible, including a description of the people, and their vehicles. License numbers are extremely useful. Information about the location is also helpful, including landmarks, or GPS coordinates if possible Don't confront the individual; instead "Make the Call" to the Citizens Against Poaching hotline at 1-800-632-5999; 24 hours a day, seven days a week, or you can contact your local Fish and Game office, or local law enforcement. You can also report suspected poaching online at https://fishandgame.idaho.gov/feedback/getForm.cfm?getForm=3. Those supplying information may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if the information they provide leads to a citation.
