Q. If the court cancels Idaho's wolf hunt before I get a chance to hunt, how do I get a refund for my tag? A. The money from the sale of wolf tags goes to general wildlife management, which includes things like elk surveys and wolf research. If legal action closes the season before October 9, hunters who want a refund and can show they did not hunt, may submit a Fish and Game request form along with the original tag by December 31.
