The Henrys Lake spawn take is underway. The Gerrard hybrid spawn was completed February, 17th with 463,680 eggs taken. The day began at 8:00 a.m. in Eureka, Montana where the Montana fisheries crew spawned the Gerrard Rainbow males and was completed about 10:30 at the Henrys Lake facility when the last Henrys Lake female Cutthroat was crossed with the Gerrard milt.
Our next spawn take will be February, 21st from about 1:00-5 p.m. Our trap numbers remain strong with 2,097 Cutthroat trapped to date.
