Hunters, anglers and other recreationalists take note. If you drive the State Highway 55 corridor between Horseshoe Bend and Cascade, you might be interested in attending one of two upcoming virtual meetings hosted by the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD).
Highway 55, between Smiths Ferry and the Rainbow Bridge, is scheduled for construction improvements beginning this fall, with completion planned for late 2022. Read more about the project here: Highway 55 Project.
Virtual meetings are scheduled for Thursday, August 27 from 5:00-6:00pm (MST) and Wednesday, September 2, from 6:00 to 7:00pm (MST). Attendees are asked to go to the ITD ID-55 project page ID-55 Project and click the Zoom link up to 15 minutes prior to the start of a meeting.
