The Farragut Shooting Range has three private group reservations scheduled during the month of August. The following ranges will be closed to the general public on the following days and times:
- 50-yard range closed Aug. 15, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- 50-yard range closed Aug. 22, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Scoped handguns are permitted on the rifle ranges at a minimum distance of 50 yards.
- 100-yard range closed Aug. 23, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Long guns are permitted on the 200 yd. range at a minimum distance of 100 yards (no exceptions).
The Farragut Shooting range is open Friday through Monday, 9 a.m.to 4 p.m. For questions or to make a group reservation call the range office at 208-683-1499.
