Idaho anglers have a kokanee habit. Every year, millions of fingerlings are planted in up to 18 lakes and reservoirs to sustain popular kokanee fisheries across the state. To meet the demand, Idaho's kokanee hatcheries work through the winter to produce the fish many anglers enjoy.
