Hagerman Wildlife Management Area is like a park built around fishing, and it offers some of the most accessible and varied trout fishing in Idaho. With various lakes and ponds on the WMA, not to mention a hatchery, you can assure fish are always available to catch, and it provides family-friendly fishing and a great place for all ages.
The ponds at Hagerman WMA are an early season destination for anglers. March 1 is the official opening day for fishing on the WMA and the ponds are generally stocked with upwards of 4300 catchable sized trout. Read more about opening day.
