This week on the Clearwater anglers have been moving further up river with effort remaining on the mainstem below Orofino. It has remained centralized around the Pink House access area and on the North Fork. Anglers have had success throughout the week but once again the majority of fish caught had to be released due to the size restrictions that are in effect.
Moving up river, anglers caught fish near Kooskia and along the South Fork as far up river as Harpster. Anglers on the South Fork Clearwater have had success with jigs and roe which has allowed them to catch a fair number of fish with the majority being released due to their size.
