Sportsmen need to be aware that some roads will remain closed through hunting season because of heavy spring runoff. The South Fork of the Boise from Bounds Creek Campground near Big Smoky for about eight miles is projected to be closed for the next three years or longer because of severe road damage. Check with your local Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management offices to get the most updated information on campground closers, road conditions and fire danger.
