The Ellis North (Idaho Department of Lands) and Ellis South (Bureau of Land Management) accesses follow the Salmon River’s southeast bank near the mouth of the Pahsimeroi River. Both accesses are popular fishing destinations for steelhead and salmon anglers. Boating access to the river is available two miles upstream at the Cottonwood BLM Campground.
