Arrowrock Reservoir

Flows into the Boise River

  • Recommended Fishing Water

Arrowrock Reservoir in Boise and Elmore Counties is 3,015.0 acres.

Arrowrock Reservoir fisheries are supported by a combination of stocking and natural reproduction. Fast growing kokanee and rainbow trout are targeted by most anglers. However, other anglers choose to target smallmouth bass or yellow perch. Be sure to properly identify trout species as bull trout utilize the reservoir throughout much if not all of the year. Reservoir level fluctuates widely. Anglers may check reservoir level at: http://www.usbr.gov/pn/hydromet/boipaytea.html
