Alongside Rock Creek in Twin Falls, you will find easy stream fishing access at Rock Creek County Park, with park amenities including camping (RVs only). Stocked regularly with rainbow trout and brown trout fingerlings. The upper section of Rock Creek is on Forest Service lands above the historic townsite of Rock Creek. Beaver ponds enhance fish habitat, making the upper section of the creek a Recommended Fishing Water with plenty of forest camping options.

Directions

From Blue Lakes Blvd in Twin Falls go 2.2 miles west on W Addison Ave. Turn right at the sign for Rock Creek County Park. From the parking area there is an easy walk to the creek. The park is also accessible via the non-motorized Rock Creek Canyon Parkway trail. To reach the upper section of Rock Creek from the town of Kimberly, go about 2.5 miles east on US Hwy 30. Turn right (south) on N 3800 E, which becomes Rock Creek Rd. Follow the road up the canyon into the high country.

Best fishing is before and after spring runoff. There is RV camping only in Rock Creek County Park in Twin Falls. Additional camping options are available near the creek in the forest south of Twin Falls.

Fishing is not allowed within the posted upstream and downstream boundary of any fish weir or trap.

Daily Bag Limits

The following daily bag limits apply to all waters within each region except as modified in the Special Rules. The possession limit is 3-times the daily bag limit after the second day of the season.

Bass limit is 6, both species combined
None under 12 inches

Brook Trout

Brook Trout limit is 25

Bull Trout

Bull Trout limit is 0, catch-and-release

Kokanee

Kokanee limit is 6

Sturgeon

Sturgeon must not be removed from the water and must be released upon landing
Barbless hooks are required
