River with cobble-boulders on bedrock (basalt) bottom, with minor potholes in which sand and gravel substrate occur. Depth 12". Most large boulders cemented to the bottom. Potamogeton pectinatus in sand-gravel patches; all exposed surfaces algae-covered.
