Plants were observed at each of 5 sub-occurrences. Where plants are present, <10 to >1000 are present within a microsite. Plants were p resent at all but 1 of 5 permanent monitoring plots. No plants were observed at plot 1-5 where plants were previously common and last observed in 2001. In areas that burned in 1994, wildfire may have caused the local extirpation of Tobias' saxifrage from one or more of microsites.
