Synaptomys borealis (Richardson, 1828). Two preserved specimens. Females. Originally reported by the collectors in 1953 as "Synatomys borealis," and "undoubtedly a new subspecies." (Note that Groves (1989) reports that this location was logged after 1952 and, in 1987, no Synaptomys were captured at this location.)
