Abstract:

This report lists the species of pseudoscorpions (Order Pseudoscorpionida [=Chelonethida]) located in the Curlew Valley of Utah and Idaho. Preliminary surveys of terrestrial arthropods were begun in this valley in 1969 and have been continued since, though at a reduced scale. Specimen identifications were made by William B. Muchmore, University of Rochester, NY. The species found and identified by (presumably sometime in) 1974 are listed here. The most common species of scorpion (order Scorpionida) is also mentioned: Vejovis boreus.
