Abstract:

A knowledge of time budgets, feeding rates of nestlings, and the amount of time spent in reproductive activities by adult birds is important to successful ecosystem modeling and to a thorough knowledge of parental investment patterns. As part of a larger study of predator-prey relationships, we gathered information on nest attentiveness of Common Ravens (Corvus corax) which may be useful for energetic models and sociobiological investigations.
