Abstract:

This report presents the results of a project conducted to determine the past and recent distribution of lynx in Wyoming. Parameters such as population structure and size, recruitment, and mortality were not within the scope of the survey. Likewise, ecological factors affecting Wyoming lynx could not be determined in the survey used in the project. But areas where lynx have been observed and probably continue to live have been identified, and this information should prove useful in future management of lynx populations in Wyoming.
