Abstract:

These two sheets provide summary and detailed information about bat observations (visual emergence count data) recorded on the evening of 30 August 2016 at bat boxes located among buildings at McArthur Wildlife Management Area, Boundary County, Idaho. [One sheet is a filled-in Emergence Count Datasheet that appears to be provided for monitoring use within A Plan for the North American Bat Monitoring Program (NABat), Appendix H, USFS General Technical Report SRS-208, by Loeb et al., 2015.] Of the nine boxes observed, a few individuals emerged from two boxes located on buildings and one box on a post; eight individuals total were observed. Species was not identified. The boxes are near a meadow and a lake. Guano was observed at seven of the boxes. Weather and other details are included on the summary form and in a table that lists the boxes separately.
