Species Account:
I encountered fresh tracks of an adult female mountain lion accompanied by 2 young of the year (estimating ~50 pound kittens based on track size). Given the consistent presence and vocalizations of 2 ravens, as well as the abundance of cat tracks back and forth, I am fairly certain there was a kill nearby, but I ran out of daylight to go investigate further. Cats were in the area (tracks indicated response to my presence), but I did not see any of them. Sorry, no camera with me to photograph tracks.
