Abstract:

Four wolverine hair samples collected on the Boise National Forest (Idaho City Ranger District) as part of non-invasive fisher surveys. These samples were analyzed for individual and gender and compared to existing wolverine DNA database. Two of the four hair samples contained quality DNA for these analyses. Two different individuals were detected, one male and one female. These individuals represent new individuals in the wolverine database.
