Abstract:

The scope of this publication is to address rare and declining moths and butterflies (Lepidoptera) located in wooded areas in states East of the Mississippi River, as well as a few from the Missouri Ozarks. The selected species were chosen using ranking provided by NatureServe, a nonprofit conservation organization. The book focuses on the causes of decline and imperilment of the select species and special habitats of which they use.
