Abstract:

This spreadsheet contains Idaho records obtained from the Xerces Western Monarch Milkweed Mapper (WMMM) project, specifically those entered from 2018 through the present (11/04/2020). Each of the resulting 315 records of Monarch Butterfly and milkweed species (Danaus plexippus, 57 records, and Asclepias spp., 258 records) has a unique web address to the corresponding record at the Xerces website (as well as any website from which Xerces obtained the observation details). Observer name, geographic coordinates, species (or genus only) names, and sometimes other observation details are included. (Xerces records prior to 2018 were obtained and compiled for the Species Diversity Database in 2019.)
