Euderma maculatumAbstract:
Fourteen species of bats occur in Idaho, but almost no data are available on the distribution of individual populations. A simplified key is presented that affords both lay person and technician a high probability of correctly identifying individual specimens to the species level. The importance of developing locality data for all bats is emphasized with special attention to the spotted bat (Euderma maculatum).
