Abstract:

Idaho’s inspection stations are placed on major highways at or near the Idaho state line. The inspection strategy is summarized at this webpage. The strategy is taken to maximize contact with boats that are travelling into the state from impacted states. More than 300,000 inspections have been conducted in Idaho under this program since 2009. Through these inspections, 145 mussel-fouled boats have been intercepted since July 2009. The page also provides links to forms, reports, publications, more information about regulated and invasive pests, laws and rules, the Invasive Species Council, etc.
