Abstract:

The natural history and distribution of the spotted bat (Euderma maculatum) remains nebulous. In Arizona it has been reported from only three counties. These include specimens from Yuma County, Maricopa County, and Pinal County. Hoffmeister and Durham suggested that the spotted bat probably inhabits the Arizona-Strip in the northwest sector of the state. On 19 June, 1974, two scrotal male Euderma were netted over Fort Pierce Wash in northern Mohave County, Arizona.
