Abstract:

This memo to Rita Dixon, Idaho Department of Fish and Game, on 8 June 2016, mentions two separate reports indicating that Minnetonka Cave, Bear Lake County, Idaho, is a bat maternity roost. A[n unnamed] Minnetonka tour guide told Abel that in 2015 he saw "an adult bat with 3 babies at the [cave] entrance." In addition, Devon [Green, USFS] called Abel and "said they have reported multiple bats with pups inside the toured part of the cave."
