Abstract:

This letter to Craig Groves, Idaho Natural Heritage Program, dated 2 February, is accompanied by a minimal printout from an NPS database of several Townsend's big-eared bat sightings at Craters of the Moon National Monument. The earliest date included is from 1969 (details and numbers not included), five are from 1987, and 2 are from 1988. Most sightings are of only bat.
