The Bliss Rapids snail (Taylorconcha serpenticola) was reported from Dolman Rapids between A and B Plants of the Upper Salmon Falls Project. A review of the literature, field personnel, and logbooks, as well as museum database and files, does not substantiate this record. The Utah valvata (desert valvata] (Valvata utahensis) was listed as present in the Lower Salmon Falls Reservoir by the Idaho Power Company license application for the Lower Salmon Falls hydroelectric project. We cannot find literature records or museum database or files to verify this reported occurrence. The Idaho springsnail, Pyrgulopsis idahoensis, was reported from the Frank Lloyd Wright Rapids area based on both laboratory and field identifications. Subsequent laboratory identifications revealed that all of the specimens were New Zealand mudsnail, Potomopyrgus antipodarum. Examination of literature and database records does not substantiate the occurrence of Pyrgulopsis idahoensis from this site.
