Abstract:

This report was compiled using the most current information available on the conservation status, distribution, and abundance of rare animal species native to Idaho. The purpose was to provide a concise descriptive account for each species (Element) currently considered Species of Special Concern by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and to stimulate discussion to update the Element State Ranks (ESRs). Compiled for the Rare Animal Workshop of the Idaho Chapter of the Wildlife Society.
