The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service) announces a 12-month finding for three petitions to list the greater sage-grouse (Centrocercus urophasianus) as threatened or endangered under the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended. After reviewing the best available scientific and commercial information, the Service finds that listing is not warranted. The Service asks the public to submit to the agency any new information that becomes available concerning the status of or threats to the species. This information will help the Service monitor and encourage the conservation of this species.
