Abstract:

Characteristics of ecological units at the Section level in the Forest Service National Hierarchical Framework are presented in tabular format for climatic, geological, edaphic, aquatic, and vegetative variables. Currently, 194 Sections in 52 Provinces have been delineated on the Subregion map. Three small-scale maps illustrate the hierarchical relationship and extent of Ecoregions in the United States.
