Abstract:

This paper summarizes the distribution of the four species of the caddisfly genus Arctopsyche McLachlan, 1868, in North America and describes natural and human-induced factors that could account for that distribution. It proposes some possible future scenarios of speciation, local extirpation, or extinction.
