Abstract:

Final survey report for bats in fulfillment of Wildlife Collecting Permit 050601. The results of the survey indicate that the population of bats at the Blackfoot Bridge Property is relatively small. The bots were observed at each survey location, numbers were not high. This is supported by the small number of bats captured during mist-netting. The low population of bats on the property is likely a function of two factors: lack of highly suitable roosting habitats and limited foraging opportunities.
