DirectionsDrive to Black Lake, one of the Chain Lakes along the Coeur d'Alene River east of Coeur d'Alene Lake, via State Hwy 3. Near milepost 101, go west on S Upper Black Lake Rd, or near milepost 102.5, go west on E Black Lake Rd. When these roads converge, continue on E Black Lake Rd to the public access area at the north end of the lake. This part of the lake is adjacent to the Trail of the Coeur d'Alenes and the Coeur d'Alene River for more recreation options. All other shoreline along this lake is private property.
